By the way, good luck playing your extra 17 paths. After playing my main one (others path, sub-route Lily), the second one (Sage), besides what's already in every path, felt like it was just chit-chat and a scene that, though good, I could watch in the gallery. That's what I did for the 3 remaining paths initially, but, as I'm a curious guy, I ended up playing them. The only one I really enjoyed was Jill's. Bella's scene was amazing but I'd be content to see it in the gallery (as I said with Sage's), and the Maya & Josy path, I guess because they've already played a huge role in the main plot part of the episode, was like nil... I thought about playing Quinn, and Sarah & Melanie sub-routes of the others, but, since I don't think there's any relevant variation in this episode, I'll let them for the future.

I liked the party when I played it first on the Others' path (either with mushies or no mushies variations, but with mushies it's funnier), but, when I played again in the committed paths, it was a drag... I complained about having to choose a commitment at the end of the episode (I wouldn't say branch as the game is branched, at least, since episode 4) due to its incompatibility with some combinations of the affinity system (most precisely, the DIK affinity), but I think the problem runs deeper. I think it made replayability worse, since what is left in the routes after you take what is universal to all of them is, with some exceptions, just chit-chat and romantic/dating corny stuff. Of course, if you play your romantic path first, since it'll be mixed with the main plot parts, it'll feel less like that, but when you play your secondary routes, unless you part of the niche attracted to that stuff, you'll feel the drag. Moreover, I think the scheme of things, of free roams and parties, works better when you're non-committed... When you've already chosen a lover, those things start to make less sense...

I've started to wonder how the game will creatively survive until the end of season 4 (I say creatively because financially I don't doubt it can). Of course, in theory, the game could go on forever, until graduation or even after that, but, from the plot that we have until now, I think it's leaning to a conclusion that, if it extends for more than two episodes, I think it'll start to get depressing (besides, I don't think there's plot material to extend it more than that). Due to what happened at the end of this episode, if the next episode is filled with light parts and jokes, it'll be very, very awkward (unless the drama is solved at the beginning of the episode, but then it'll be a shitty exploitative cliffhanger).

P.S.: Geralt, sorry for the digression. I started to comment on your post but then went on to write more about my general feelings about the episode and the future of the game. I hope you don't mind.

EDIT: P.P.S.: I digressed so much that I forgot about that... Josy's not technically a "yandere"... She may be a spoiled li'l brat complaining about something she would do herself in an alternate timeline, but "yanderes" do crazy stuff, beat people, kidnap her "loved" ones, and so on... I don't think she'll go that far.

I want to add something. In this episode, Jill's route was...not as bad as I expected. I was waiting for the next portion of the circus with clowns like in Ep.9 and getting ready to make memes with it like a year ago. But everything happened differently. From a writing standpoint, this is some good character development. Of course Jill is just coming out of her bubble and there is a lot of vanilla that is not for me at all, but there were some cute moments.

Good moments:
- Jill and MC are looking around Lana's room and our Tremolo was delighted because they could have a lot in common.
-We learned that the Bianca family made a deal to sell this mansion from the Lynette family to the Royce family. That's why Lynette lives in that hole in the diary's memories.
- MC lets Jill listen to rock music.
-Bianca is great with this tease.

Another proof that Jill is developing, she stops being so naive and believing everyone. When you’re not on her route, it’s obvious, because she doubts MC’s words that he’s innocent and Tybalt did it all. This is correct, because you cannot take everyone’s word for it and she has already been deceived once.

Something that can be interesting with Josy on a Sage Path is that she is the type of general girl that Fuckface tell Sage on the date. Her hobbies where general hobbies the one that MC's speak about, and it can be interesting to see what new hobbies she will have. Will they still be general because she searched them on internet or will they be helpful to make her extra attractive for Sage's path MC. It would be an interraction that would be specific to Sage Path.

Still don't really understand why people though that Josy didn't had a storyline before this episode, for me her storyline was to see if she will follow completely in her dad footstep, to see if she will decide to stay in her current relationship with Maya and try to make it better or go in a relationship that she know she will be happier in, well in all the others paths than J&M.

But thanks to this update, I really want to do a route where Fuckface pursue all the LI to see how each LI react to his choice.

Let's look at the dates with the girls in Ep.10:
-Sage, it seemed like there were casual dates, but Sage is very intelligent and educated and you can develop a philosophical, highly intelligent conversation with her (just don’t press her about personal things, Tremolo!)
-Bella. Yoga, beer-pong for a bet, and the best sex scene in the episode.
-Quinn. A risky adventure with crime, a cabriolet ride through the city at night.
With awesome music. A feeling of something forbidden.
-Even Jill, it was funny how MC was trying to loosen her up a little and get her hooked on rock music. In some ways it's ironic, Lana, her sister, brought home some rocker and the lower classes. Where one sister goes, so does the other.
-The conversation with Nicole gave me warm, glowing emotions. I'm the same age as Nicole and I can easily understand her.
-I don’t know how to feel about Lily yet, all this “rolling for a status” is a little strange. Lily is an even more closed book than Quinn, and until I understand what she’s hiding behind herself, I can’t make up my mind.
-Hanging out with Zoey is an attempt to return to the past, restore the relationship, tension and a lot of unspoken words that need to be said to each other.

What did we get with Josy? We just sit in her room with pillows, gossip about others and look at pictures on the phone. Compared to everything else, this is dull for me.

You left out half of it. She previously deleted her profile on Rooster. It said what she likes to do and what hobbies she has. Oscar didn't like it and called Josy a common slut.

Word has already spread across campus that Josy and Maya have fucked the MC and the campus girls are hot for the MC. In the three-way relationship, Josy knows exactly who she has as a boyfriend. She doesn't want the MC to think she's boring. She starts working on the relationship so that MC doesn't lose interest in her and Maya. That's the point, at least on the Josy/Maya branch.

I only wrote recently so that Josy and Maya ended up being something like Melanie and Sarah. They tease each other. I find that incredibly sweet.

You have your point of view and that's your right personalty I just respectfully disagree. Josy does have a story and knows what she wants, MC. She wants MC big acts confident but she has some deep insecurity that why Josy was looking at hobbies and deletes rooster bio. There's a reason she don't have many photos of herself something happen to her but then there the photo of her and MC on first date and she turns redder than a tomato she head over heals in love with this guy name fuckface. MC makes her feel things not even Maya can, the conflict for Josy is admitting it and likely that coming sooner or later. Josy has a lot of story and to me its pretty amazing

for the ones who don't know, you can confess to maya in this episode, her reaction is rather interesting

My guess - based on the fact that we see her exit abruptly from his office ONLY on her route - is that Burke tried to sexually force himself on her. In most cases she reluctantly accepted and had sex with him and that's why she was late to the meeting with Tommy. But if she is in a relationship with the MC, she loves him and doesn't want to have sex with Burke. That's why she rejects Burke's advances only if the player pursued her as a love interest.

Played my monk run and saw the scene there too, plus, remember Stephen said in the last episode he needed a talk with Priscilla? That's Quinn.

EDIT: Actually scratch that last part, I have not completed the Quinn run so I missed the render of that other woman that sits to talk with Quinn at the fast food place, that could be the actual Priscilla.

And so, after all this and now knowing Maya's full backstory, I respect her a lot more. In fact, a very strong personality going through living Hell.
What later... Ah yes, Josy drags Sage into this and whines how bad MC is, how he HURTING HER BUSIN ahem.. FEELINGS.
I’m so offended by the bad MC, have pity on me everyone, Sage, look, he didn’t want to be with me, BUT I WANTED IT SO MUCH! But when Sage talks about her relationship with MC, I see a person with IQ150.

In general, I held on for a long time and tried to maintain a good opinion of Josy, finding positive aspects in her, but Ep. 10 was a red line for me and the only positive thing about her now I see - her petite body, which you can twirl as you like in bed, as a person she’s just too much for me unpleasant. Obsessed with MC yandere who doesn't take the word "NO", is extremely selfish, prone to betrayal and rash actions, which can bring problems to MC.
Yes, that was a little harsh, but I speak my mind. This is first of serious posts about the very great Episode 10, which changed a lot for me. And it’s time to update the Main Girls list, apparently:

My guess is that she is PRISCILLA

But you can date Quinn only if you are a Dick, and if you are a Dick you can't date Jill, Josy and Maya.

So, you have to play many different paths and sub-stories: just think about how episode 10 can be different whether you told / you didn't tell Derek that you still have feelings for Maya in episode 5.

And I think you guys GOTTA STOP telling that this update is short.

I'm playing this update since friday morning, and still I haven't played Sage's, Josy&Maya's and most of my different Dick's and Others' variant routes.

well you know with those people you can't do anything man, they have a minuscule attention span and if they are not constantly stimulated they get bored fast. I mean when I started the first route on the 8th, it was 8:00 in the morning and when I finished it was 1:00 in the afternoon. I took my time to read and review every detail I could.

the funny thing is that those people who criticize today are the same ones who will be in the front row when Chapter 11 comes out. they are the first to download it because they enjoy complaining and making people angry more than playing the game. :HideThePain:

the top notch. moment, was MC realization as Maya Said " do you see? " . and then the segments as mc put the thing together, and finally snap at him and punch him in the face. (y)
